Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It states our current intent about how ValueRank may be used. A final version will be published before public launch.

1. What ValueRank is

ValueRank ("we", "us", "the service") is a personalized content ranking platform. You compare items pairwise; we compute rankings, feeds, and recommendations tuned to your taste. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Our content and intellectual property

The service — including its ranking algorithms, feed generation pipeline, prompts, taxonomies, editorial briefs, item classifications, source code, user interface, brand, and name — is our property or is licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (comparisons, ratings, suggestions, feedback). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and use that content to operate and improve the service, including using aggregated and anonymized signals to train models and improve rankings.

6. Third-party content

Titles, artwork, trailers, and metadata about movies, music, games, books, brands, sports, places, and people belong to their respective owners and are shown here for editorial and informational purposes. Availability, prices, and links to third-party services may change without notice.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is." We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimers and limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Rankings, recommendations, and news items are algorithmic outputs and should not be treated as professional advice.

9. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, restrict access, deactivate or terminate accounts, and pursue legal remedies. Systematic scraping or reverse engineering is a material breach of these terms and may result in immediate termination and legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Czech Republic, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
